I have a friend who is obsessed with scatter cushions and her husband keeps hiding them away, I’m talking stuffed in cupboards, and hidden under beds, you name it! I always used to laugh at her telling me the adventures of her scatter cushions but only really faced my own scatter cushion battle when Craig and I got married and we moved in together.
Before we were living together he had a couch, some pretty suspect blankets and a two knives and one fork. It’s always amazed me how different men and women are when it comes to decorating their homes…in that men, for the most part don’t, and women do! I’ve had the most fun decorating and DIYing our apartment over the past year, I started with our lounge and study which have yet to be completed and moved on to my bedroom. If you didn’t catch my bedroom makeover you can check it out here.
Anyhoo, Cotton On has been providing me with my staple of white v-neck t-shirts since they opened and now they’ve started their very own homeware range called CO:HOME . CO:HOME’s goodies are all the most beautiful shades and have a really nice earthy feel about them. The whole range is split into three main categories: Living, Gifting and Summer Entertaining. I got my paws on some scatter cushions (hands of Warren!), their pink tones work perfectly with my blue couch and my fun flamingo paintings that I found in an antique store a few months ago. Their white cotton throw has also been seen keeping the Durrants warm during late night movie sessions!
CO:HOME also has a rad collection of knik-knaks and throws including candles that smell like heaven ( I got a Fig and Lily scented one which is a surprisingly refreshing combination) a couple goodies from their melamine outdoor dining range. Their turquoise speckled mugs have been keeping Craig and I super happy over the last week! They’ve also got a range of simple frames, I’m not one for wild frames because I get tired of them too quickly.
The whole range starts from R89 with most of their products are under R300 so if you’re looking to treat yourself or someone else this December you’re going to be pretty amped. CO:HOME is available at selected stores around South Africa including the Mall of Africa, V&A Waterfront, Gateway Shopping Centre and Menlyn Park stores. Happy home making!
Thanks to Cotton On for supporting She Said. Here are a few more image of their products on sale.
