Everyday I write about stopping to smell the flowers, but I hardly ever get to actually stop and smell the flipping flowers. Life has gotten pretty busy lately, which is really amazing and I couldn’t be happier! I’m travelling more taking more photos and spending way more time creating content for my blog,  the only thing I would change though is having a little more free time off from work to spend with my friends.Friends like these (81 of 85)I’m yet to meet anyone who has the balance just right (if there even is one), we either all work to hard and have no social life or we don’t work enough and spend all of our time at the pub with our friends. I get kind of sad sometimes when I know that my friends are all off together experiencing new things or chatting about old times together but that just makes the times we spend together even more special…and what could be more special than an impromptu photoshoot?Friends like these (85 of 85)Thanks Terry, Sam and Vinel for always been okay with me sticking a camera in your faces and for being such amazing and supportive friends (especially for never judging me too hard when I can’t make it out because I’m sticking a camera in someone else’s face).

Just as an aside if you feel like capturing the same moments for you and your friends I do fun little shoots in Johannesburg and surrounds, you can check out a past one I did here. I also did another one last year with bunch of friends, it’s also interesting to see how much better my photography is. Friends like these (57 of 85) Friends like these (59 of 85)
