It felt like just yesterday I was skipping around in t-shirts….wait it literally was yesterday! If you’re based in Joburg or anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere for that matter you’re probably sharing in my pain as the leaves turn brown, the sun starts to hide it’s beautiful face and your staple outfit includes scarves and beanies.

I really REALLY don’t like the cold, if I could live in hot, humid weather for the rest of my life I would be the happiest girl…but unfortunately that’s not going to happen…at least not anytime soon. So in one last-ditch effort to hold onto summer I decided to share one more look inspired by Via La Moda.

If you’re not too sure what Via La Moda is it’s the most incredible SouthAfrican handbag and leather goods brand. I gushed about it over and over again last week in my last Style post which you can check out here. I honestly can’t tell you how awesome their showroom is, It’s only 20 minutes from the centre of town and it’s handbag heaven!

My Via La Moda piece in this look is the most beautiful black leather backpack…and if you know me I love a good backpack…in fact it’s pretty much a staple in my everyday wardrobe. I love a good backpack because carrying my camera around in a handbag or worse a big ugly camera case is not a vibe. I paired it with the cutest jumpsuit from Topshop, the jumpsuit reminds me of something an actress would wear in the 50s, I actually can’t wait to wear it when it’s warmer again.

If you’re not based in Joburg and aren’t lucky enough to checkout the Via La Moda showroom you can checkout their list of stockists here.
