A few weeks ago I shared some pictures of Craig and myself from our wedding. I still can’t believe just how beautiful the images are and I can’t wait to have some printed to out up in our apartment. If you’ve been following my blog you would have seen I wrote about our amazing wedding planner Rebecca from Runaway Romance. I haven’t shared much else from the day but trust me there is more to come. Today I thought I would share some more pictures from the ceremony and the reception by the amazing Hanro. To read a little bit more into how we put the whole day together you can checkout Rebecca’s website here, she does a much better job of explaining it than I do. The photo above is one of my favourites from the day…also you can see my goose bumps so you can just imagine how cold it was!
For Craig’s suit instead of spending loads on getting one made we got his suit from Topshop and then gave his groomsmen a colour palate to stick to and they all ended up looking amazing! We also got bow ties from Bibi Rouge which I’ll do a whole post on later this week.
Our song for our first dance was Shuffle by Bombay Bicycle Club, I can’t dance but Craig can so he kinda took over (thank goodness). For the Father/Daughter dance my Dad and I dance to a cover of Today by the Smashing Pumpkins. Hanro is a master at capturing strange little moments, here are a few of them from the day.
On the day the catering and bar was done by The Bedford Gastrotruck who did an amazing job, I couldn’t recommend Thom and his team enough. The food was delicious, different and really well priced and the concept of a food truck fitted in well with our aim to not have a formal sit down meal. All our guests just couldn’t get enough of the food!
