When I don’t post on my blog I feel REALLY guilty, guilty because I know I should be and guilty because I know you’re all out there hanging on my every word…okay maybe just because it’s my job and I know I should be posting hehe. The fact is I’ve been really busy shooting a whole bunch of things with Angie and I’ve just been bogged down in crappy day to day admin like sorting out my passport and answering emails.
Yesterday I had two minutes to spare and thought I’d shoot one of my favourite looks for winter to share with ya’ll. I’m not going to go into how much I love a good A Line skirt again because I’ll sound like a stuck record but I really enjoyed updating something I’d wear in summer to a more wintery look. I bought this simple mesh top from a while back and haven’t worn it too much mostly because it’s pretty revealing and it’s not like I can wear it to Sunday lunch if you know what I mean. I shared a post about a beautiful mesh dress I found at a few months ago, but still I’m really loving the trend, I think it’s incredibly sexy and yet understated in the sense that you still feel covered up for the most part. I paired the top with a bralette from Cotton On, I get most of my underwear from them jsut because they have really beautiful lingerie that’s not overly padded and flatters my ‘no boobs boddy’.
I’ve also paired it with brogues and socks from Cotton On, I love a good brogue , if you’re looking for cute socks for winter Cotton On has a really fun range, other options are Mr P and although I’m sure we will see them popping up everywhere soon.
…I just realised I’ve been shopping at Cotton On A LOT heheh! Let me know what you think of the look…and if you’re a troll get lost!
