I’m back and I can’t wait to share my holiday adventures with you guys, BUT first I’m going to tell you about an awesome new coffee shop in town by the name of Milk Bar. No, it’s not the one in Kramerville that most of us have come to love it’s the newest addition to the Milk Bar family in Pritchard Street.
The whole ambience of Milk Bar is super friendly with the energy from the bustling streets of the city spilling into the open fronted café. Like it’s bigger sister, this branch of Milk Bar encourages its patrons to order from the menu hanging off the wall behind the counter.
The space is incredibly big with a large front room with couches and comfy chairs and then a main area with the counter and a few tables and then a really big back courtyard area that is going to be glorious when summer comes round again. Every single piece of decor and furniture comes from Amatuli and it’s all for sale. I especially love the tables in the main area!
Craig ‘king of hotdogs’ Durrant had a seriously tasty hotdog, he really loves hotdogs so if he says it’s good it’s good. I had a chicken pie, for this post I can be Anna-Belle ‘ate all the pies’ Durrant. All in all it was fresh, delicious and served with a smile so we couldn’t have enjoyed our lunch any more.
If you’re working in the area (chances are if you’re a lawyer you will be as the court is just across the road) Milk Bar is perfect for out of the office meetings and quick lunches. If you’re keen to try something different from your usual café lunches it’s definitely worth taking a short drive for a meal and then taking time to stroll around town afterwards. There’s loads of parking along the streets near Milk Bar just don’t forget to bring cash to pay for parking attendants.
