A few weeks ago Jobest got a chance to hang out with Oreo at their pop-up store in Rosebank.
The #PlayWithOreo Café in The Zone, Rosebank is so much fun, if you have kids you might even have more fun than them.Whoever thought up the concept behind the store needs a high five because it’s one of the best concept stores I’ve been to. The store is full of all sorts of activations and fun things to do, you can design faces on your own Oreos, you can make a music video, you can buy Oreo merchandise, you can play on the Oreo seesaw and swing, you can have your photo taken in a life size Oreo car and you can indulge at the “Cookie Bar”. Yes they have a sushi style bar, which constantly rotates the most amazing looking Oreo treats.
While I was there I tried a few goodies from the Cookie Bar. I had an Oreo Ice-cream Sandwich, an Oreo White Chocolate Popsicle, an Oreo Cupcake and Oreo Fudge, they were all so good! The Cookie Bar works just like a sushi bar in that you pay per coloured plate that you choose, so you get to try as many things as you like (prices range from R10-R40 per plate). You can also order Coffee, Crushed Oreo Milkshakes or even an old-fashioned glass of milk to dip your cookies. I don’t think I need to sell it any more!
