One of the more fulfilling parts of She Said is that often I’m lucky enough to get involved in some pretty awesome initiatives that help certain communities and South Africa as a whole.

This Saturday I’m lucky enough to be joining  and a few other flipping rad people as we try spread a little love around SA…and ride some bikes (I’m really hoping there won’t be too many hills EEEK!). On Saturday morning I’ll be popping down to CT to cycle the green cycle route in Woodstock/Salt River. I’ll be stopping along the way to give back to two charities ( and ) and for an Instawalk with Juma Art tours which in my opinion is one of the best in the country!

Here’s what I will be getting up to, maybe I’ll see you along the way!

9am for 9:30am: Meet at the Old Biscuit Mill. Guests will cycle to the Woodstock Exchange, where they will meet up with street art curator Juma Mkwela, who will give them an overview of the neighbourhood and tell them a little bit about the Woodstock street art project.
10:30am: Guests will have 90 minutes to explore the area and take some photographs. There will be enough CULT going around and official influencers will be briefed to include the brand in at least one social media post.

12pm: Meet up with the team from The Big Issue. They will tell us a bit about their story and introduce us to a few of their people.

1pm: Meet up with the team from Street Sleeper. They will tell us a bit about their story and introduce us to a few of their people.

2pm: Cycle to the Company Gardens, where we will have lunch. There will be a picnic setup and the homeless will be encouraged to come and get a sandwich as we spread the good energy.

3pm: Event ends
